Market Update

The wire rod price has showed signs of weakening from record high and is expected to be dropping in the long-term outlook. 

Rebate rates for certain some steel products are rumoured to drop in the past months. However, no official announcements from the ministry has been published. 

Shipping rates will maintain or rise again in the near term. Shipping lines are reducing supply by cancelling vessels to maintain this price level.
