Within the Building Products division, we’re currently looking for a Content marketeer with a passion for digital marketing and communication to strengthen the Marketing team. In this role you report to the Global Marketing Manager and work closely together with our central Global MarCom team.
Your role
Create regular content for our omni-channel marketing approach (digital & offline) with a focus on content for all inbound channels (social, email, landing pages, etc.)
Decide on the messaging framework and take responsibility for setting up the content calendar
Optimize content for search engines and lead generation
Generate qualitative traffic to our digital platforms
You create/contribute to the social media strategy and strengthen our presence on social media. You offer our consumers a platform to talk about our brand, applications, etc ... You monitor conversations about our brand, applications, etc ... and engage with consumers across platforms
Conduct analytical projects to improve our content strategy
Serve as an evangelist for our message
Contribute to long-form content projects, such as whitepapers
Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and our audience
Keep the team up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing
Your profile
5 years of experience in a similar role

Proven experience in creating content across several media types and formats
Good writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adapt style, tone and voice
Passionate about online marketing, social media and technology
Solid understanding of SEO/SEA techniques and best practices
An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale content strategies and tactics.
A high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills
Strong communication skills
Team player
Strong interest in the building industry is seen as an extra
You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English
Our Role
Marketing Intelligence
Collect information of industry, market, competition, and technical input from downstream market segments in a systematic and timely way via various sources, to draft out market study reports including defined market strategy and route to market proposals
Structure & analyze information in collaboration with internal and external resources
Work together with global market management team to build a local information infrastructure in cooperation with central business intelligence functions and maintain contact with external information suppliers
Conduct market surveys, to understand the voice of the customers, their met and unmet needs by contextual interviews
Industry Analysis
Support senior BU management for strategic projects and new business development
Conduct industry analysis and build company profiles for targeted segments and companies
Identify and analyze new growth opportunities derived from our existing product portfolio and/or based on current or new competencies
Monitor market & technology trends and evolutions in selected segments
Participate or lead projects to identify opportunities and advise actions to capture opportunities
Identify and assess new business development projects. Explore and analyse attractive targets
Draw up and present a business case
Present and defend the business cases and projects to BU management
Develop x+1 and x+5 plans for China market
Mix, price and volume inputs; meet corporate timelines
Define and implement business models and product / service concepts
Establish pricing, distribution channels
Manage product portfolio including product positioning; Volumes, margins, market penetration
Monitor plant profitability by segment and region and implement strategic changes as necessary (price changes, product standardization or rationalization, etc.) to maintain a minimum contribution from routine sales activities
Updated price lists; regular and timely reporting
Develop and manage a market database to enable the business to track market trends by segment and customer
Market intelligence collection and analysis
Your Profile
University or master degree with engineering, business, managerial or marketing background
Over 5 years of relevant experience in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting business information in a B-to-B environment. Experience in steel or wire industry will be a plus
A healthy curiosity and persistence in collecting information
Strong analytical skills and a good afinity with figures and analytical concepts and tools
Project management skills
Strong interest in new technologies, processes and industrial products
Dynamic, creative, and result driven
Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English
